Two months to go until you can step through time and Into the Valley…
Time’s a funny thing, isn’t it? Sometimes it feels like a blink of an eye since you attended your first festival as a wide-eyed teenager (or younger!). On the other hand, when you’re looking forward to something – the second instalment of Into the Valley, perhaps – time slows to a halt, days creeping past until those Farm gates finally swing open once more. Well, we’ve got some good news for you – as of today there are only two months to go until Into the Valley 2026.
The concept of time is going to get even weirder once you arrive onto Rowden Paddocks, because 2026 is the year we invite you to step inside the Time Resonator. The Resonator was meant to take us back to the golden age of festivals, free parties and gigs in the days of endless summer before responsibilities set in: but somewhere along the way the machine malfunctioned, hurtling us back one hundred years to the roaring twenties: think flapper dresses, jazz clubs and covert shindigs amidst prohibition.
What do you do when you find yourself caught inside an endless time loop? Suspended somewhere where there’s no work, no responsibilities and no bedtime? Why, you throw a festival of course – because, in many ways, aren’t festivals already like little oases of timeless freedom, unshackled from the 9 – 5 grind? Last year we compressed as much fun as we possibly could into just one day. This year, time is expanding a little: two days jam-packed with the finest in jungle, dub, reggae, and much more besides across four stages, including our brand-new drum-n-bass area Haywire.
