About Nozstock

Amid emerald fields and the lushest rural countryside of Herefordshire lies Nozstock The Hidden Valley.

Like the very best of festivals, Nozstock was founded by a fun-loving family and their friends, pretty much everyone who had a guitar to play or a joke to tell. It was a hazy, optimistic time at the turn of the millennium, when life felt simple and summers were long and full of amusement. The Hidden Valley has successfully retained this homely, welcoming nostalgia, but we’ve woven it into a delightful amalgamation of performance, art, electronic super-sounds and good old-fashioned guitar-strumming and drum-bashing. The festival’s ethos was about bringing play to everyone, in whatever form it can. In essence, Nozstock The Hidden Valley was at-once eye-opening and entertaining, intriguing and delightful, it was grown carefully with love and attention, and all under the encouragement of Farmer Noz and his ever-patient cattle.

However, after nearly 3 decades of memories, which will always hold a special place in our hearts, it was clear that all good things must come to an end and after 26 years, Nozstock 2024 was the last 11 stage, 4 day extravaganza.

We are very proud to have been a fully fledged member of the Association of Independent Festivals since 2010. The AIF work tirelessly to create a united voice for festivals like ourselves, nurturing and empowering us all to make the Great British Isles the world leading hub for independent festivals.

However, it’s no secret the UK festival scene is struggling. Nozstock has always been an independent event, and although there are changes we could make to allow the festival to continue, the final product was something we don’t recognise and wouldn’t be the event you love.

So from 2025 it was time for a reset.

Nozstock has gone back to its roots with a series of much smaller and intimate events, chock-full of grassroots talent but still retaining that Nozstock magic. We want to produce events that don’t break the bank for us, and for you. Events that you can participate and contribute in. We want to invite conversation, interaction and serious recreation.

We hope to see you at one of our smaller events in the future.
