Midlands raised producer and DJ, Billy Whizz grew up in a household full of blues, dance music, jazz, heavy metal and punk rock. So before the age of four he already had a wide taste of music, notably head banging to Metallica in a nappy. Starting off playing in bands to then producing his own beats and DJing he ended up in Bristol where he really began to emerge as a main player in UK Hip-Hop supporting the likes of The GZA, Souls Of Mischief, Conway The Machine and joining the legendary crew Mudfam. He was no stranger to radio play either as his track ‘Real’ got 1Xtra air play. He certainly made him way around the music scene. Now located back in Hereford he still plays classic rap records with a bit of soul, rnb and disco thrown in and occasionally something naughty around the 140 BPM tempo
