Tang is a 24-year-old drum ‘n’ bass DJ and Producer based in Bromyard. He started his DJing journey at 15 years old and has been honing the craft of music production since the age of 16. In 2023, he won the Nozstock DJ competition which was judged by Hospital Record’s Unglued, who said that his “tight mixing and varied selection” clinched it for him. This bagged him a set at the festival, supporting the likes of Shy FX, DJ Marky, and S.P.Y to name a few. Tang has performed at a number of other high profile events, including GemFest, as well as being a regular and local favourite at clubs such as Worcester’s Tramps Nightclub. To date, Tang has released music on labels such as GZ Audio, Identity Records, and Twisted Sounds Audio.
Recently, Tang has joined forces with Bruk Out Records, a newly established record label and DJ collective. He plans to use this as a platform to share his weighty collection of unreleased music with the world. Tang’s productions and DJ sets take inspiration from drum ‘n’ bass heavyweights such as Break, Dillinja and DLR; some of his favourite
artists.
