Sam was proudly born and bred in the town of Bristol. In his nearly two decades making musical noises, he has cultivated a modest but earnest musical offering, on record and through live shows. Heart-soothing melodies – at times fragile and others anthemic – with intensely personal, yet universal stories woven through their fabric. Sam has songs for holding onto; for love, losing and occasionally winning. He has played hundreds of gigs and festivals across the South West including high-profile support slots with the likes of Turin Brakes and Ward Thomas. He has appeared many times on local TV and radio, including sessions for BBC Introducing in The West.
